I frequently read what you have posted for free subscribers, I like reading your publications, and I totally understand that you, or any other writer for that matter, would need paid subscribers.
What I’ve written about is that in Notes I cannot see what is paywalled or not. And opening a text to find I cannot read further after the first couple of lines, is at the very least unpleasant, knowing that a paid subs is not possible.
If I could see in Notes (like the purple Preview on the site) that a text is paywalled, I wouldn’t need to open it.
That is nothing against you or any other writer, it’s more an observation re the system.
Yes, I wonder which way is better, I’ve been given advice both ways, to have a little preview and to have none, good to have feedback from more people about it.
