"We love the truth

as long as it's about someone else,

doesn't require us to do anything,

and doesn't disturb our beliefs."

The truth is an abstraction to so many anymore, that I am not sure there are any peaceful ways to work out of this. I hope that I am wrong.

It is disturbing indeed.

I saw a quote from Frederick Douglas yesterday: One human with God is a majority.

Wow! Such a rich article full of truth—truth that the masses don't want! ;-)

I have experienced it, being the "freak" or "crazy one".

Thank you for sharing this truth, Alexander!

'...it is that small percentage of people who do this that make the biggest difference in the world...'

Well said, Alexander. Advocating and speaking about the truth and being objective really is crucial in any society, especially nowadays where there's so much deliberate misinformation, propaganda, and outright lies.

I can't tell you how much I agree with this post but individuals often keep their opinions to themselves and don't know that they have allies and close friends and then just agree with whatever is the strange, often democracy-impinging new status quo of society. In particular, thinking about the past few years and even society now is much more difficult and unfriendly than before due to people learning how to irrationally fear. I hope to perhaps subscribe to you as a paid subscriber in the future. Hoping to keep my expenses low currently. Only have one subscription from way back. Thanks for sharing. XO

Thank you so much, I really appreciate your comment! Inspires me to keep working hard! I totally agree with you, fear is the key factor! “The mind killer.”

In Laodicea, we accept comfort as truth. Our God is progress and financial freedom. This is nothing but a strong delusion.

Alexander,

An example of the masses following blindly is in a country with a major news organization called Pravda. Pravda translates to "truth" and was encouraged to be printed in 1912 by Stalin and Lenin. As a human species, we have short memory. We have even shorter memories of history. In the present day, we have a new form of "information" for the masses; it is called social media. One of them could be translated into Russian as Pravda.

When a movement has to blatantly name it to claim it, the sheepherder can stand proudly with their shepherd's hook as they watch the sheep blindly fall in line.

Be the change you wish to see in the world- Mahatma Gandhi. I totally agree with you. I've be pondering on why since time immemorial great mystics Jesus, Gautama the Buddha, Muhammad, Great Eastern masters of Zen, Taoism, Buddhism, Hinduism, Christian and Islamic mystics have come and go trying to send a message to man that his every day consciousness is just one side of a two sided coin and that everything is explicitly different but implicitly one with everything, that the external world is nothing but an extension of our own body. All this mystics have been trying to liberate us from the sensation of " I, a stranger and afraid in a world I never made" into the sensation of feeling whole with our environment and existence. Only a minority of the population have been interested or tried to understand what this people have been saying and yet it's the most profound thing for one to realise, imagine living knowing only the reality presented to you by society and completely oblivious of your own personal experience of reality of your being. To know ourselves requires us to be in charge of ourselves and majority of the people are maybe afraid of being in charge of themselves because this means you're not going hang on any beliefs or some imaginary entity, you are the known and the known is you.
