Well said, Alexander. Advocating and speaking about the truth and being objective really is crucial in any society, especially nowadays where there's so much deliberate misinformation, propaganda, and outright lies.
Life and sustenance often become a race to the bottom - whatever makes "me" the largest profit, which is made of wetiko-whole cloth, and people don't know the evil they bring into their lives and thinking, because they are propagandized into it Getting the rotten jelly of the mind virus out of your thinking takes work and is hard to do, especially when so many around you, even those close to you are spewing mental poison. Thinking critically is one thing and thinking for yourself yet another. It's just too much for many people that are captivated by fear and trying to survive. But it's all excuses and justification as humanity embraces the Liar.
I can't tell you how much I agree with this post but individuals often keep their opinions to themselves and don't know that they have allies and close friends and then just agree with whatever is the strange, often democracy-impinging new status quo of society. In particular, thinking about the past few years and even society now is much more difficult and unfriendly than before due to people learning how to irrationally fear. I hope to perhaps subscribe to you as a paid subscriber in the future. Hoping to keep my expenses low currently. Only have one subscription from way back. Thanks for sharing. XO

An example of the masses following blindly is in a country with a major news organization called Pravda. Pravda translates to "truth" and was encouraged to be printed in 1912 by Stalin and Lenin. As a human species, we have short memory. We have even shorter memories of history. In the present day, we have a new form of "information" for the masses; it is called social media. One of them could be translated into Russian as Pravda.
When a movement has to blatantly name it to claim it, the sheepherder can stand proudly with their shepherd's hook as they watch the sheep blindly fall in line.
