Well before the war
a through line weaves together
memories of time.
All so good, but this one might be my favorite

Words hang in the air
Like the trembling winter moon
Like the weight of war
Really different and beautiful, love this imagery
When death knights appear
not all stories will return.
The witness matters.
Life is suspended
by the ground effect of air
in the fallout zone.
I have a few, hope it's ok to give you them in separate comments.
Her hidden remains
tucked away within the walls;
Evidence of war
Absolutely! Very chilling and powerful this first one
I know, right? Sometimes they're difficult to read. The subject is so sensitive.
When two sides dispute,
And middle ground can’t be found,
Rage until the end.
That’s war, yup, lots of loss
Wounded scarred young
Battle raw broken pieces
Stained glass heart shattered
Deep trauma of war

Fighting for beliefs
Who is right and who is wrong
Everyone loses
Truth
Inner conflicts
Right is wrong, wrong is right
Compromise
Brings my thoughts to some current events
Blood moon hangs
O'er dark ash horizon
and boot prints in the dust.
Powerful imagery!
War is like a jar
War monger marks a target
Shards and pennies fall
Very interesting, like this one a lot
Weary, ravaged souls
Desperately ache for peace
Creation groans too
I love it!
Mongrels incite hate
Peace is never granted here
War thinks it will win.
Disputatious man
Nature inclines thee to war
Ever has it been
Love it
