Red wine and dark chocolate.

A haiku:

Dark chocolate, red wine

From a bean and from a vine

Delicious, Devine

I love your picks and your poem! Thanks for the fun inspiration!

Cold sparkling water and yellow buttered popcorn. Feel decadent when having it.

Greasy fingers

Moistened throats

Satisfied smiles :-)

Sun ripened peaches

Their sweet nectar pressed

Eliciting memories

At my tongues behest.

By way of stark contrast

Are roasted peanuts crushed

Comforting my taste buds

And negating the rush(ed).

I'm choosing water and Brussel sprouts. I feel healthy and strong like Popeye when I ingest them. I don't know any fictional characters that like Brussel sprouts: must be a taboo topic...I think of running a 100-mile Ultra marathon when I think of these foods, cuz I know I'll never finish one if'n I don't go keto...My story:

The children sat on the floor, drinking their water and eating their Brussel sprouts, when the killer came in wearing his Kalashnikov Avtomat AK-47. He cocks the trigger. He raises the weapon to his shoulder and peers through the sights, watching the childish faces enraptured by the taste of Brussel sprouts. The killer smiles, revealing a gold missing tooth, and applies pressure to the trigger.

"Here come Grandma!" he shouts.

Martini and Olives

Makes me feel I’m in Italy.

James Bond.

Poem:

Martini and olives

They just go together so well

Not like a horse and carriage

More like a babbling brook in a dell.

A tingle and a tang

Makes me bubbly and fun

To wind down my day

And follow that brook to the sun.

lol! Sorry!

Oh that’s so funny, I eat cocoa in the morning, too, only I put a heaping spoonful in my morning coffee with a little milk. I like the taste, too.

Very nice! I eat about a tiny spoon too, by itself, good for energy as well, I eat a mostly no added sugar diet, so this way is perfect
