A big bunch of those who proclaim they defend children's rights are actually violating them.

Oh, so well written! I love your paragraph... Christ describes his true followers as “little ones” because he says they are pure in heart, like children. He teaches that unless we are like children we cannot enter the kingdom of heaven. Therefore, those who are of pure heart are also vulnerable. This is also Christ’s call to not harm those who are most vulnerable and weak.

Great post, thank you. When you say, “let’s bless those with less”, in what ways do you do so?

Thanks!

We can do this in many ways. We can send encouraging messages, buy food, take someone for a hot chocolate, support with money, etc. Sometimes just hearing someone out fully is a blessing for them.

I do like a few charities I’m part of, Orphans in Ukraine and OUR, if you are looking for a charity to help.

Thank you. I will look into that charity. There are so many good ones. Don’t forget prayer. I struggle with discerning how to best love those with less, in context of so many in US homeless, begging, etc. “Giving a man a fish vs. teaching him to fish”, etc. Enabling vs, helping.

Absolutely! And official name for the orphans one is “Lifesong for orphans”, it’s a Christian charity group.

We have a lot to learn. And unless we look deeply into our own hearts, we cannot preach to others!

This is so true. It hurts me so much when I see Christians support bombing defenseless populations.
