This was absolutely beautiful to read! I love how you explained everything in the perspective of Christ in a very profound and deep way. It is through His perspective that we are to operate in as the Body of Christ, in love and unity 🙏
The picture of the Tower of Babel looks like what I imagine the EU Parliament building to look like when they’re done pillaging the world. Oh yeah, they designed their building after the Tower of Babel. Hmmmm…. Why do Satanic cults use Biblical symbols…..Hmmmm……. So many questions.
Well put. We can definitely do better as a group, especially in the American "church". It's become such a competitive business model it rarely resembles a house of fellowship and worship and looks more like a self help meeting with a good batista.
I no longer go to a Christian church. Sadly, there are too many reminders of the church as an institution. Our local vicar seems threatened by anything challenging the status quo.
However, I have joined a local meditation group of 9 fellow wayfarers. We are mostly christian, others are of different faiths and none. We embrace the teachings of Jesus and also the early christian Mystics. We are free to share our thoughts, poetry, prayers and readings with the group, taking it in turn to lead and host our group meetings.
Being part of this community I feel closer to God on an individual level and part of a caring community. Others in the group feel the same way. Coming together is a very intimate and powerful experience. What we experience in our 30 minutes is palpable. We all become one.
There is no such thing as a "Lone Ranger" Christian (or shouldn't be). That person is prime picking for the devil. We all need to live in the context of community, especially these days.
For most it is if you are attending a church, but for others, it’s small house groups (like in places where there is open persecution of Christianity) or living in a monastic community.
Christian communities exist in all different shapes and sizes, but the key aspect is that Christ is at the heart of the community.

Thank you for sharing!
Great article, full of important reminders, things I need to work on as well.

Beautiful! I joined the Bible in a Year group with Fr Mike Schmitz and so far it works wonders in opening my eyes and mind to understand the Word.
A beautiful message, thankyou.

How do you know you're living in a Christian community do you think?
