Brother Alexander, this is exact. The path. Always stay focused on the path, keep your eye on Jesus at the center. Watch those forks. Get back up. Thank you for this great read ✨

This is amazing! So much truth here, amen! I loved the part where you told the difference between the world's definition of freedom vs. God's definition of freedom. There's so much revelation in that alone. Thank you for writing this, it's a really good read!

Beautiful. The older I get, the more I realize that spiritually I'm still a kid and have such a long way to go. It seems to be a common theme that as humans we physically grow but make many mistakes that cause us to reckon with our spiritual side as advanced adults.

Finding the path has made such a difference in my life. Thank you for putting it into words.

It is the true and only way to being fully free.

I think that children are more naturally aligned with the spiritual than we are. I see this frequently at work. Adults fear and misunderstand what spirituality means for them and the children just know it, they embrace it. They have an awareness of the transcendent already.

Children are more used to trusting than adults. We feel like we need to be in control.

Absolutely! It’s tough to learn to release that fear and learn to trust.

Being fully human is to realize our potential to be God's children.

Jesus came to show us the Father, so that we could become the Children of God, one with God, as he said:

And I do not pray for these alone, but for those also who shall believe on Me through their word, that they all may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You, that they also may be one in Us, so that the world may believe that You have sent Me. And I have given them the glory which You have given Me, that they may be one, even as We are one, I in them, and You in Me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that You have sent Me and have loved them as You have loved Me.

(John 17:20-23)

To be ONE WITH GOD!!! Yet few churches teach this truth.

This is the same as God said in Genesis:

And God said, Let Us make man in Our image, after Our likeness. And let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the heavens, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over all the creepers creeping on the earth. And God created man in His image; in the image of God He created him. He created them male and female.

(Gen 1:26-27)

We have the potential to be God's children, but only if we follow Jesus and walk with him as our friend.

Nicely put. With this line, "From a Christian perspective, I would say spirituality is the process by which we come to know God more," I would say that it's not specifically Christian. Having met people of deep faith from different religions (both at home and when traveling), this "coming to know God more" is a constant among all sincere devotees no matter which paths they follow, for in that devotion God will surely guide one to truth in the end.
