Your father and I are from the same generation. Perhaps he was familiar with my friend, journalist, and writer Lyuba Kovalevska, who predicted the accident at the Chornobyl nuclear power plant, where she worked as a newspaper editor in Pripyat a month before the catastrophe in her Literaturna Ukraina article, She received the Order of Courage in New York a little later. Your post stirred up a lot of memories.
Your father must have been a great man and someone you were proud of. The tribute you pay to him here is very beautiful
