Jesus spoke in parables. Stories speak on many levels.

We actually don't know how exactly Jesus spoke. Most bible scholars agree that the Bible was written by several unknown authors who weren't eyewitnesses and it was written 60 to 100 years after this death. Jesus didn't speak in parables. Every mystic speaks very clearly. It's not parables. The Bible is a contradictonary mess because the authors had limited understanding of Jesus and mysticism. All they were intersted in was founding a new religion - Christianity. The turth never contradicts itself.

A friend of mine (when we were in college} told me a story about when he was going to class one day and a young lady was just standing at the bottom of the steps. She didn't know if she wanted to stay in college. He said that since they had the class together, they would sit together. He continued by says maybe she would feel better, and he said with a pretty girl sitting next to him it would make him look better. He told me that after that day he would see her around campus and her attitude always seem positive and she would always wave at him. I asked what he did that one time, and he said, "I was just nice to her." I guess at that time it was all she wanted or needed.

T'as absolument raison, absolutely right that we can learn by telling stories. Stories are the meats and potatoes of a civilisation/culture and this is why we writers fulfil an incomparably important role. Keep writing mon ami, and keep ploughing ahead, am very glad you're hereon Substack and very glad to have read your novel.

Interestingly enough, this exact same scenario happened to me the other day. When I was driving, some alpha male road rager called me a toxic this or that. I lost concentration while driving and crashed my car right into another car. But instead of a car filled with a family, it was filled with perverts on their way to an illegal pervert seminar. For my heroic actions in killing the perverts, the city awarded me ten million dollars for helping to clean crime up from our town. True story.
