I am going through a period of time, like everyone here, that needs a lit of faith and hope. I'm living this thing called Life, allways ful of unforseen things and twisted plots
As Jesus is our example in how to live, he showed us how he endured pain and suffering:
Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith;
who for the joy that was set before him, endured the cross, despising the shame,
and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God. (Heb 12:2)
His focus was not on the severe physical agony and humiliation that he was about to go through, but on the unparalleled joy of his eternal accomplishment, and of the reward awaiting him of being set down at the right hand of the throne of God, where he would continue and complete the work of His Father.
We also are, therefore, admonished to not focus on our trials in this life, but on the eternal joy, which in comparison, will cause the pain and sorrow we may endure, to pale into insignificance. And, by this, we will have developed in us the very character and attributes of the mind of Christ. (John 15:7, 1Cor 2:16, Phil 2:5-11)
What motivates me? Tomorrow is another day. That's it. It's that simple. I can take a breath. I can say a word. I can walk away - or I can stay. Every breath is hope. Every breath is energy. Every breath is life force. Might as well do something with it - as long as its mine - to hold for the moment.
While there is life, there is hope! I painted that Stephen Hawking quote on my high school grad cap years ago, and was JUST looking at a picture of it the minute before I read this post! God’s timing… I never get tired of it.
That’s amazing. A lot of the times we don’t notice these types of signs, alignments and messages, but it’s great when we do, God is sending them all the time.
I agree hope keeps us going in difficult times. That's what gives us strength. Apart from that, believe in ourselves and having a supportive network helps us scale through difficult times
I appreciated this post. Hope is what keeps me going. Living with health issues (and a recent surgery) doesn't diminish my hope because I know my hope is in the Lord. However, it's easy to feel weary and even frustrated when time off from doing things I value is necessary. Thanks, Alexander.

Me too my friend, what an experience, ups and downs.
Definitely feeling this one! A lot of change happening and hope can be such a guiding light
Absolutely, changes are difficult and can be scary sometimes, hope and faith will carry us through them.
This is EVERYTHING that I needed to see today…perfect timing as always. Thank you 🙏
Divine timing is beautiful when we see it, so glad!

Beautiful and important reminder.
If it weren’t for hope and faith, I wouldn’t be here many times over. Thank you for sharing and for the short post!!
I’m glad to be of help as I know how this feels.

The breath, such a huge and meaningful thought you said, seems simple, but it’s profound. The breath of life.
Timely and so true!
Glad it was good for you! Thank you!

Wonderfully uplifting, thanks for the boost of hope and faith this morning.
Glad we can uplift and encourage each other!
Me too.
Hope and faith are such a gift, for they keep us in the game of life, allowing us then to take further spiritual views and steps forward. Thank you.
I agree, lovely comment. God bless.
