When I look back on my life, there were things I asked God for or a relationship I wanted and didn’t get and I was disappointed. Now I realize that He didn’t give me what I wanted because those things/people would have proven terrible for me, but back then I couldn’t see it clearly. Now when I’m struggling, I let it go into His hands. It’s not my plan but his.
We may not always hear or see the answers to our prayers. We will also never know why God answers some and not answer some. One thing we do know for certain is that God is always faithful, sovereign and gracious. His timing is always perfect!!
I very much appreciate the thought that God always knows what we need better than we do. Jesus himself prayed "Thy will be done," both in the Lord's Prayer and in Gethsemane, teaching us to surrender our own ideas of what the "answer" must be.
The best insight I've heard where answers to prayers are concerned is that God primarily answers prayer through our own will and volition. If we pray, for example, for fulfillment some material need and feel the inner strength and energy to go earn the necessary money, then that's a clear answer. Indeed, it's likely a far better answer than, say, some miraculous solution because awakening the will helps us grow spiritually as well as fulfilling the need.
This was beautiful. There are many questions I will sit with. Thank you for sharing the music as well.
Thank you so much for reading! Very glad you liked it.

Happy New Year, Alexander.
Such a great point, looking back and analyzing can change a perspective!
I was told one time that God answered all prayers, but sometimes God may say “No.”

Very good point
It's impossible for a human to understand God's infinite wisdom and forgiveness but if we pray and blessed, we touch grace.
Absolutely!
