What stories! Thank you so much for sharing Alexander. This hangs on our wall, carved in metal, to remind us how we kept following the light no matter how hard it was emotionally and physically to keep going after trauma.

"Only those who will risk going too far can possibly find out how far one can go."

T. S. Eliot

We do have a lot in common!

Only God. Not sure how I would have made it through recent years... and about 18 years sandwiched between insanity for neighbors.

It's a testimony piece.

(and it only got worse.. but this home Jesus called us into was to grow us in the most painful of ways and I know that now we have come through the long and extremely painful storm).

In my adult years not too long ago I was stalked by a man for ten years. I paid no mind to him. He and his family moved out of the neighborhood.

Hi Alexander had a frightening experience myself when I had been riding my bicycle. They wanted to kill me. Maybe I should write about it.

Wow, yes absolutely, you should share in my opinion, it’s hard for me to write personal stuff, but I see it helps others as well

Thank you for sharing this wonderful piece Alexander.

It's a good reminder that there's always light in the perceived darkness, and that even cruel situations can give birth to something good and beautiful.

‭‭James‬ ‭1:2‭-‬4‬ ‭NASB1995‬‬

[2] Consider it all joy, my brethren, when you encounter various trials, [3] knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance. [4] And let endurance have its perfect result, so that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.

.

Alex, thank you for sharing this. I bless God for preserving you despite the enemy's evil plans against you. You are a light, bringing hope, being comforted by God in your trials and now able to comfort others in their trials as well. God bless!

Your experiences remind me that when going through hard times it is then we must have faith that God will pull us through:

God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tested above what you are able, but with the temptation also will make a way to escape, so that you may be able to bear it.

(1Cor 10:13)

The way of escape is to go through it!

We have some bad neighbours at the moment, they were ok, now they are crazy. We had this before and moved, but not so sure we want to move this time as there is only one crazy neighbour, before we had about 10!

We need to rely on God to guide and protect us.

In 1987, I knocked down and killed a seven year old girl while driving to my son’s sixth birthday party. God used this catastrophic event to intervene in my life. From tragedy He brings glory to Him. Hallelujah!!!!!

it doesn’t get tougher than that, have you written much about it?

The most powerful intervention I've had was more of a validation of a difficult decision. When I finally found the exact perfect moment (because that's key to leaving an abusive relationship) to tell my ex that I had to leave, I felt an overwhelming download of light through the top of my head. It pulled me out of my body, into space where I could see earth and swirling light. This experience carried me for years.

Thank you for sharing your story. Sometimes, we don't recognize the blessing until we choose to go through a healing process and look back.

Wonderful story. As someone who struggles with mental health issues and addiction, I know it has given me a unique gift for dealing with people. I recently started going to church again. I think adversity makes us stronger. I like to think so anyway.
