Whatever one's beliefs, insulting people online is not the right thing to do.

Unfortunately people are not all mature. Even online. They do not change from one mode of communication to another.

Yes, very true, I think hiding behind the screen far away also makes people say even worse things to others.

That's quite right, there are more constructive things people could do than being rude and arrogant online.

Something else I've noticed. Quite a number of people have lost the capacity to disagree with others in a respectful way. If we don't regain this capacity, it' ll be difficult to attend to different points of view and learn from each other.

I totally agree, people don’t want to listen to each other, age of quick video, memes and no thinking haha.

You were 100% Spot On. I took have found myself in non productive arguments. I still find myself in arguments...but I choose my battles. Mostly...I go after false teachers. But...that is me. Kinda like Peter. Protect the weak. Is that a bad thing?

I think it’s part of God’s calling for you. Part of serving the Lord. Like Jude 1:13 says about False Teachers.

Jude 1:13???

They are wild waves of the sea, foaming up their shame; wandering stars, for whom blackest darkness has been reserved forever.

Great reminder. Guess people just want to be heard and move it online instead of settling it face to face. But arguments don't bring people closer together than a simple hug and understanding when you see each other. X

Absolutely, also always better when respectful and in detail and in person.
