I think your generalizations might have gone too far. Grouping plagiarism with serial killing and human trafficking, for example. I don’t think there is anything wrong with possessing as long as it doesn’t rule your heart. Plagiarism is corruption not evil. Confusing corruption with evil is a bridge too far. Corruption leads to evil no doubt. And it’s important to discern evil. We live in a corrupt culture and I believe it’s because of evil forces allowing it knowing that it leads to destroying and destruction in order to control. That is evil. Control may be more key to discerning evil than calling it possessing. However, one can be possessed by evil.
Oh my goodness I love this one so much and I’m waiting for the public to catch up with us and see how much possessions have changed our lives and mindset about the importance and value/values that we are trying to instill in our youth as parents and grandparents. I, for one believe in the demonic and spiritual possession. We must go back to the past when teaching our children that the fruits of the spirit is the gift that keeps on giving. Not the cutthroat culture of today that says that some people are humble and “losers” who are not worthy of winning the prize or power. The music, movies and even the clothing is just as much of a part of being possessed as the girl was in the Exorcist. The only difference is that instead of the green vomitus coming out of nowhere… the words that we have become numb to and the images of Satanic rituals have been made normal life and “goth” is a fashion sense… but I am always there looking at the underlying effects of this on our children and our children’s children. Guard your eargates and your eyegates are very important instructions for us all in the Word of God. Love of possessions can be the foundation of a relationship with the enemy of your soul. The love of money is the beginning of sin…and the fruits of the spirit are the seeds of life that are planted in your heart to grow in your mind. But you also have the power of life and death in your tongue so that if you possess the ability to call yourself the best person and the smartest person around and the rest “losers “ and “suckers “ . You are not operating in the fruit of the spirit that calls for love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. These are all virtues that will make you and I want less physical possessions because they will never be able to fulfill our purpose in our quest to live and grow. Possessions are a temporary fix for a lifetime of traumas that can only be satisfied by turning them into one or more of these fruits of the spirit. I hope that I have not been too lengthy or even more importantly too spiritually with my response to this post but I do as I am thinking…
I was ill for a while and my son is in chronic kidney failure which has caused me to be very careful about my timing and my calling but he refuses to stop working and I believe he has more faith that I do… but I told him that it’s a lot different when it’s not your pain but it’s one of my children. He remembers how I said that if you are going to pray-don’t worry! And if you’re going to worry-don’t pray! You have no idea how much of a blessing this is to me to hear that back from him… it means that the kids are listening to me when they were little
Dr Nikayla Reize has a compelling take on this saying, "Only demons possess things". In my own contemplation of the degrading formative effect capitalism has on us I find that it sifts our ideologies leaving behind the things we don't like to think about as a by product.
I thought it a good and thoughtful article- no idea why so many unsubscribed after its posting!? I see no discrepancy in likening plagiarism to the will to possess at all costs - it is simply stealing of something from another in a twisted effort to claim it as one’s own…I have not thought of it that

Well, I still love u. But u bring out a dark side of our nature. People don’t want to be reminded of the darkness inside of them. They want to be thought of as wise and gentle.
And don’t be overly concerned about gaining and losing subscribers.
Just the other day I wrote something and my dog and my mother both unsubscribed. And the cat is giving me the stink eye.
I have to say, for some reason I expected that to be very cumbersome to read. Don’t know why, but it has been a long day 😂 however, that was a very good post and it was easy, if not pleasant to read 😊
