This was relatable and sparked my curiosity to read the whole book. It's easy to fall into the darkness as a writer, and I guess that also helps to add depth to writing.
Yesterday, I was feeling sad as I often do and simultaneously jotted down this poem:
amid rudeness and bad memories
I want to see comfort in someone’s
eyes.
I want to see tenderness
that could subtract from my
despair.
usually don’t write this way,
but the grief is adding
up.
and I’m beginning to
feel numb every
moment.
I might never try to find
the one, yet my
hopes for someone
coming up to an
awkward loner is
higher than it has
been in the last
15 years.
Now, I want to end this
thought and put
myself to sleep, but
what can I do?
The screaming rebel inside
my heart is marching
again.
I hope reading this weird and probably far-from-good poem motivated you a little. Keep going.

Let me know if you start listening to the book from the start!
Not yet, but soon I will.
