That's awesome! This is the first time I've specifically thought about the fact that God both spoke + fashioned us. It really completes the picture for why it's so foundational that works are inextricably part of our faith. Mind blown :)

When I read it in these old letters it was amazing for me as well, the fathers of the church were so well connected with God.

It makes sense, before creation it was,,,,,,,,, only the word of God. Then creation came and He lead with love and did the ultimate deed. His Word and Deed is the only example I want to follow. I have only adopted this Teaching in the last 2 or so years. I am stoked to learn many more from God our Father, Amen

I believe Faith is not just obtaining it, it's something you must action and do.... which is the deed He did via the word for all creation. Wow thank you.

It’s a pretty amazing thing to think about and discuss, we can’t fully understand it, but can feel it through our connection with God, the seeking, moral compass, the things that are right to do, what is wrong to do.

I haven't thought about this before! I haven't paid close attention to this part of the scripture. Is this also an affirmation of the rule that our thoughts are inevitably followed by deeds?

Really great question. I think with thoughts and dreams there are so many ingredients. Controlling thoughts is much harder than actions, but for sure the more bad thoughts we have them higher the chance of wrong deeds and the reverse.

All I know Alexander, I will get it wrong along the way and God is Great. His LOVE, MERCY & GRACE. Yet we still get it wrong. I would rather fault on His path.
