“I am the way, the truth and the light. He that cometh to me, I will in no wise cast out.” Once we invite Christ into our soul, through profession, we are His. We can never be lost.,l Just as the shepherd had 99 sheep, yet searched for the one astray to bring back to the fold.

Your comment about Black Sea salt, and it’s uses in the region are most interesting. Salt also enhances the flavor of nutrients-our foods and the aroma. I have visualized being the salt of the earth as bringing out the inner essence and depth of those we encounter in our day to day life through encouragement, support, kindnesses and as a Good Samaritan...tending to the injuries of life and seeing to the basic needs of people with humility and love. Doing what we can with what we’ve got.

Nothing can separate us from the love of God, nothing, and no one. God will bring us into the fold-He will not loose one. We are His and He is ours, individually first and always. Even if we sin, we are forgiven as the Prodigal son, and embraced with God’s joy. Our eternal soul is his. This temporary temple of our shell, our human form can undergo all sorts of trials and terrible things, yet, just as I am, I come to Him, and rest in Him eternally. Forevermore. Yes, we can encounter evil in all of its forms, temptations and tribulations. And, that’s generally the first indicator that we’re on the right path-the assault of all Hell. If we were already evil, what would be the point of it all. Our basic Adamic nature is to doubt and question, as did Thomas. But, if we have the faith of a little child, and see-truly see God’s anointing, given freely to us on Calvary’s Golgotha Hill, then, we enter heaven’s gates with thanksgiving and praise, for greater is He that is in us, than he that is in the world. Perfect peace He gives to us, not as the world gives, but as our Heavenly Father gives to His children.

I'm pretty much aligned with this teaching of salt and light, yet statements like if you turn from god, god turns from you and Lucifer will take on you, leaves a bad taste in my mouth. It's power through igniting fear and guilt, the way the system has always worked and prevents people to come to their truth of existence. To actually become salt and light.

It’s simply what Jesus teaches, if as a Christian I just cherry pick anything that sounds nice in Jesus’ teachings then I’m not really telling people what’s in the Gospels. Actually that’s why there are so many churches today that are falling apart in US. Pastors obsess about getting more members, so instead of preaching whole Gospel, they just preach parts that sound pretty and then they are surprised that people in the church actually end up not having a strong moral community and leave. It’s not up to me to judge anyone, so all I can do is say what Jesus taught and not assume much else. In my opinion anyone can eventually be with God, but I can’t preach that for sure as Christ’s message as he didn’t say that and early church didn’t say that. There are some indicators of belief in purgatory like spiritual place in early church, also seems to have a belief of spirits staying in our physical realm, but I can only speculate and discuss about that part.

I also think that if people live thinking there are no bad energy, bad spirits, etc, around them, then they won’t have much to combat that when these things appear in their life.

That's fine Alexander, I got you.

Personally, I don't trust the writings from over 2000 years ago completely, as I'm sure there's a lot of truth in them, but it's likely that much has been manipulated over time as well. No one of us experienced these times and can tell for sure. In the end, it's about faith and what everyone feels from within. I'm not judging either. I'm always happy to see when someone found peace for him/her-self. Being it through some kind of religion or spirituality, it doesn't matter. What matters to me, is to become conscious about our existence as part of a whole. A conscious being, aware of its connection, would never harm himself or anyone else.

It’s def hard to figure out sometimes which books have been messed with and which haven’t. I think in the end God will get to us what we need to know, with strong faith like you said, we can pray and have small revelations sometimes.
